Fuel The Music (FTM) spans the digital and physical worlds.
As part of our mission to support aspiring musicians from around the world, FTM is launching the “Hear Me Out” Blog.
We’re on the look-out for talented wordsmiths – bloggers, writers, up & coming journos – with a discerning ear and a love of music.
FTM Needs You!
Do you have a favourite aspiring (unsigned) artist or are you the no.1 fan of an upcoming band that the world needs to know about?
Been to a gig (back in the good old days when you could) and have an article waiting to be published – or joined a livestream recently that moved you so much that you were compelled to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) so that you could somehow capture the moments of aural delight?
Listened to an album or a new release lately that tickled your ear-buds and gave you a rush?
Send your thoughts and words (and pics) to: email@example.com for a chance for your work to be featured on “Hear Me Out” here on the FTM site, and shared across all of our social channels.
My first gigs were on pavements at local street festivals in South London. Off The Cuff (home of Fuel The Music), was my first proper music venue with a packed audience. A year later, I won The Voice Kids and played at the Royal Albert Hall and the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, adventures made possible by the confidence and experience that I got from playing at Off The Cuff. It’s a great venue. People who love music know that we need Off The Cuff to keep fuelling the music for the years ahead.”
If I’d had Fuel The Music been around a decade ago I'm certain it would have helped me endlessly in my goal to become a musician.
This is an idea with huge value to any level of musician, and will end up providing a much wider availability of knowledge to help from the ground up! I will be joining the Fuel the Music ranks as soon as possible, and would recommend anyone of any age does the same.
